Hello Divers!
I hope you are enjoying some down time. Are you anxious to get back in the water? In preparation for the upcoming season, there are items that you can easily do now to ensure smooth diving this summer.
- Check your tank for the hydro date – required every 5 years.
- Get your tank in for a visual inspection – required annually.
- Check out your regulator – has it been a while since it has been serviced? Most reg sets need to be serviced annually. Check your manufacturer's instructions.
- Make sure to change the batteries on your computer and transmitters.
- Look over your wet suit and booties and repair them as needed.
- Look over your BCD – any tears or cracks? Have our tech check it out for possible repairs.
- Check your fins and mask straps – replacement straps are available at the shop.
Look for our opening in early March. We will be on site to service gear or answer any questions you may have. Proper preparation will prevent missed dives later! Don’t forget to stock up on defog and purchase an air card to save money!
